A&E Departments are under extreme pressures

We are currently experiencing high levels of demand in A&E at both the Alexandra and Worcestershire Royal Hospitals and some patients are having  to wait several hours for treatment. Please consider whether you need to be treated in A&E.

Do not attend the hospital A&E or visit family and friends if you are unwell with flu like symptoms.
You should always contact 111 or your GP in the first instance to be advised further.
